Pardon my coarseness, but I'll be a son of a bitch.

Not only am I offline for a few weeks due to...ahem...not paying the cable company (heh..heh...seems like they can't take a joke[rolleyes]), but I come back and the hosting company apparently did some server updates and used an old backup to restore lost files.

Not only has this forum lost several posts, but several sites disappeared completely as well.[mad]

Lesson learned with this hosting service (and something that was purely my negligence anyway) is to absolutely do your own regular backups and not trust it to the hosting company regardless of what they promise.

Damn.

I really have nobody to blame but myself.

Have you used it? Do you know if there are any side effects? Sorry if this isn't posted in the correct spot. I just found this forum the other day and i'm still trying to find my way around it.

OK, this is an attention-grabbing headline that VIC will maybe be compelled to read. Hi Vic :D

Vic is from the Black Hat world of SEO and is currently gathering a following of newbies to create a network of sites.

This is a great idea, where all the members will be part of a large team and be in a position to interlink between their sites.

But Vic is not disclosing his tactics and instead trying to scare people by calling people out that scam newbies lick Caroline.

But Vic is doing the same kind of thing himself, he is not yet scamming people but he is using them to build a kind of downline for his business plus recommending essential tools like Bookmarking Demon that he is likely making affiliate money off.

So if you are reading this Vic, I am calling you out buddy! Ha ha :D

p.s. I like Vic's blog and video casts, fun stuff.
Dont know if you would consider that a screw up just plain funny though...
That is kinda funny but can get to be a problem if your users are expecting replies.

Gay dating is probably a better market to go into since these people have good money to spend and users will be more likely to interact with each other via messaging in a genuine way than if you have a straight dating site featuring fake hot girls to kick it off.

So your hubby could maybe look at starting a lesbian site which would probably interest him and you could act as the lesbians and do the replies to messages to kick start the site?

It's kinda cruel to keep guys waiting in expectation too long.
